Question Correcting A/F ratio with tuner Cat ?

I'm trying to understand the relationship between the two tables % change to A/F ratio VS coolant temp at WTO and % change to A/F ratio VS RPM at WOT. I would like to target 13 to 1 and I'm having trouble understanding the relationship between the values in each table. Can I simply multiply these values by a constant ? Or can someone email me the values to correct my A/F to 13 to 1. Thanks for any help......

There is no way to do this without getting on a wideband equiped dyno.

Usually you richen it up a bit for hotter temps, this is what vs coolant temp is for.

If you really wanted to do alot of work, you could look at your MAF data logs and your injector info, and make some attempts at getting it right.

If your long-term BLMs at idle and part-throttle are near 128 (126-132), then there is no reason to believe that the PE tables set for 13.1:1 won't be very, very close to 13.1:1, etc.

How to set the tables is listed in the TunerCat help file. I believe it's something like 100*([1 - RPM table value] + [1- coolant table value,])/14.7. But check the help file to make sure.

Thanks, the formula was the key.... I will check the results on a WB as soon as weather permits.

Look it up in either LJ's site or one of the other sites to get the accurate answer.

But I will try and get you started.

The AFR is the inverse of 14.7/(1+one adder+the other adder).

So if you add 10% to one PE table and 5% to the other your commanded AFR will be 14.7/(1+0.1+0.05). So your commanded ratio is now 14.7/1.15. If you add 10% to each table you will be at 14.7/1.20. 10% and 15% you will be at 14.7/1.25.
