Computer won't connect to PCM

Ive tried datamaster and the freescan software, both do the same. I tried the aldl test program and it says it passes the fast test, but fails the longer test when the baud goes to 57600. I have a moates cable and have contacted the tech support and they want me to hook some other kind of scan tool to it, like a snap on, not sure if that works on a 93. Im able to pull codes with the paper clip method. I think the cable is no good, but any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Nick

Re: Computer won't connect to PCM

Its probably your computer.. not the ECM. What can you tell me about the laptop you are using?

Are you sure you installed the drivers correctly?

I have the moates cable and it works perfectly.

I'm no expert, but should the baud rate go that high????? I thought these PCMs would only run 8192????
