Code 23

I have a 94 Formula and every once and away the SES light comes on and freescan shows code 23 something about the MAT sensor. Can someone please give my more informative about what it means and what to check out? The only mods I have is a custom CAI and Hooker Lts.

Thanks

Where is to sensor at? If it is unpluged wouldn't the light be on all the time?

Thanks

DTC 23 sets when the PCM sees an irrationally low inlet air temp. That generally means excessively high resistance in the circuit. You either have a broken wire, or a bent pin on the plug that is making intermittent contact. Or possibly a faulty sensor.

The sensor is located in the rubber inlet bellows.
