Cell 18??
Cell 18??
I have been doing some data logs recently and noticed I am running in cell 18 at WOT.. why might this be? What is real strange is cell 15 shows in 2nd gear but then all of 3rd gear pull is in cell 18 and you can notice its not running quite as strong. MAF is showing less air flow and more vacuum is generated in the upper RPMs. In fact I am losing 8 KPA at 6000 rpm! Anything I can do to fix this?

Re: Cell 18??
If you have an OBDII car, cell 18 is an idle cell, warm engine, AC on, M6 tranny. Why the PCM is in FTC 18 for you at WOT, I dont know. As an experiment, turn off the AC and see what cell you are in at WOT.
FTCs 0 thru 15 are part throotle cells, they all use fuel correction terms. For an OBDII car, the fuel correction is referred to as Long term Fuel Trim (LTFT) and Short Term Fuel Trim (STFT). For OBDI cars, its BLM and INT, respectively.
FTC 15 is also a transition cell to PE mode.
TFCs 16 thru 20 are special purpose idle cells, manual cars use FTCs 18, 19, and 20,,, A4 cars use FTCs 16, 17, and 18.
FTC 21 is the decel cell.
FTC 22 is the WOT PE cell.
