Iam currently running a Hotcam and mildly ported heads and intake. The car runs great with a mail ordertune but I am swapping gears, converter and camshafts. I am wondering what do you change besides fuelmaps, and timing when tuning the engine with Tunercat which I have already purchased but haven't used yet. My heavy T/A with 3.42's has been 12.30's@109.7mph and 11.41@119mph on the gas so I am no dummy to these cars just programming I have a laptop,cable and the software just need a little help in the right direction. Will the tune i currentlyhave work o.k or will it be totally different with the cam I listed above? Lmk Later Clint

 

Sounds like you are doing the same mods as me. I just went from a H/C stock heads car to a 355cid, stage II Heads, 230/242 on a 113lsa, PI Vig 3500 and a few more things. Anyway..... I got a program from pcmforless but it's way too lean. After it went into closed loop, my blm's went up to 160 in no time. I'm still unsure how to get them back down. Anyone else have any suggestions?? If I figure it out, I'll send you over my file so you can get a base tune.

You are still running your old tune or did he make you a new tune for your cam, heads setup? I don't think 160blms are that bad. You need a wideband to see where you are at. I have access to a wideband so I will be able to tune. How does the car run with that setup? LMK soon and et's would be great. Send me an e-mail. Later Clint

 

Did you change injector sizes?
Where are the blms 160? Just at idle....or everywhere?
