CC306 Re-Programming?!?!

I am currently in the process of swapping my cams. I am putting in the CC306 with the proper Valve Springs and Retainers. They are being done at the local shop. My only concern/question is this:

Will the car's computer need to be reprogrammed for it to run right?

If so, is there something I can buy or what? I'm totally lost when it comes to a cars ECU/Computer. Any help on this will be greatly appriciated.

BTW, its a 1995 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350 LT1. Mods are listed below, all the minor ones were left off .

Your car will run, but it will not run all that good. I have a PCM that is programmed that I am fixing to sell. It's programmed for a 230/236, which is the same programming wise to the 306. Our mods look to be about the same and it should work out great in your setup. You would have to add SVO 30lb. injectors cause they are already programmed in. Also M6 tranny and 4.10 gears. E-mail me if interested and I can give you the specifics. Beast96Z@team.camaroz28.com

I eventually want to add 30lb injectors and 4.10's but I do not have the money right now. My car is a 6-speed so that isn't a problem. How much are you wanting for it?

The original price I paid through Ed Wright was $350. I'd be happy with $175 shipped. I made 397 RWHP on this tune on my stock bottomm end with shorty headers through full exaust. FWIW.

Hey man I appriciate the offer. I will take it all inconsideration but the only thing that is holding me back is having to buy injectors and 4.10's. Eventually I will buy them but the budget is a little tight now that I'm putting the cam and everything in. I will definetly keep you in mind. If you have AIM my name is: LT1POWERED95 give me a jingle. Thanks!
