Guys,

I need your expertise. I cannot seem to go past about 50% throttle after about 20mins of run time. When I add throttle during cruise, the motor just seems to die. I suspected a misfire, but it does not feel like it. No sputtering. There is no response. Almost as if I shut the ignition off. Funny thing though, this only occurs after about 20mins of run time and with an OBD1 computer, not the stock OBD2 pcm. The car is a 96 WS6. It sometimes clears itself out, and sometimes it does not do it all. No ideas. Any from y'all?

Mods: 383 stroker, Ported LT4 heads, Ported LT4 intake, 42 lb injectors, Comp Cams 306, 58mm throttle body, 1.6 rockers, True Dual 3" exhaust w/xpipe and dual 3" Flowies.

Likely is Optispark. Those things are crap when they start to go out. Mine had similar problems at high load or throttle. New Optispark cured instantly. They are only good for about 50k miles.

I was hoping it wasn't that. Although, someone makes an aftermarket one. I forget who. Tks.
