can i pass smog with cc305??

can i pass smog with cc305??
i am in the peoples republic of CA 
and have a lead on the CC305. i was going to get this because i heard that it passes out here. i just got my smog done this weekend and i barely passed. the HC limit was 48 and my max was 47. if i go to the bigger cam can i still pass?? any input is appreciated. thanks.
