can i delete datamaster from laptop after free trial?

im going to datalog my car sometime this week. some local CZ28.com member is going to help me out, and lend me the cable and other accessories. only thing is that im going to download the datamaster onto my gf's laptop, and wait to purchase the full version when i get my own laptop. dont know if you can delete the software from the laptop, unless my gf wants to leave it on there?

Go to control panel---> add/delete programs

You can uninstall it that way

The other thing you do is do a system restore right before you install the program, then restore it to that system restore after you are done using it. It would be like you never installed the program, probably better than installing and uninstalling.

got the 1st method of unistall, but the 2nd one cant you just create a restore point before installsay 10/31/06, then go back to that restore point after the trial ends on 11/10/06?

if the software is unistalled from the laptop by either method, can you download the freeversion again?

If you install it by the first method, you can't go back and have a new trial.

I dont know too much about system restores, I think the computer automatically does one every time it starts up and it only keeps so many of them.

so then i shouldnt have a problem unistalling the program after the trial period. i just cant get a free version on that same laptop anymore. if its going to work that way then that'd be great, cuz i dont want my gf to be nagging me about having the program on her laptop.

Please do not post links to my website, (texasfbody.com) for patches or cracks to software. if you wish to tell him please send him and email. i dont care personaly how you tell him. but cz28 does not encourage the use of pirated software or illegal software. im telling you this before you get in trouble by the board.

now if you want to link to it, for pics or other information thats fine.

i dont mean to be a butt about this, but this is not my board, and its there rules.

just trying to save you the hassle, oh and by the way that patch wont work for the version your downloading. sorry.
