Can I add more timing?

At WOT Im running 35* of timing but Im getting no knock retard at all, none even throughout the whole timing table.

Can I /Should I add another degree or two throughout the whole table? It just seems Im able to run more than all the other stroker guys.

Is that 35* on a datalogger, or 35* in your timing tables?

What I have found is that in those tables, at 4000rpm and under the computer is adding 2 degrees of timing, at 4500 and 5000 it's adding 3 degrees, and above that it adds 4 degrees. So you've actually got 39 degrees at high rpms.
IMHO, that is too much. Of course, every car is different.
Just remember to take into account the mysterious added timing.

On the couple of cars I've done it seemed at 36 degrees they were happiest. Any more and they wouldn't pick up anything. Seems that the quicker you can get full advance in the more torque you could make. If I were you, I'd bring the timing in as quick as I could without getting any retard...and then run 36-38 degrees (32-34 in the tables).

Ok, thanks for the advice. The more timing I add downlow the more the car seems to like it. Wjhats funny is that Im running a lot of timing with no retard. Could it maybe be since Im running so rich?

I do some tinkering and report back.

I don't have Autotap. Can I download the software somewhere?
I had it once, had problems with it, offered to drive 1 mile from my house to their office for some help/troubleshooting....and they weren't interested in helping.
