BLM Locker ?
It's for wide open throttle tuning so that your long term corrections go to 128 and you can add fuel in the enrichment tables and see results based on what you added, not what the correction was before you went WOT..
If you don't use a blm locker the computer will use the long term corrections from the cell just prior to WOT in its fuel equation. Every time you reflash your computer you reset all the corrections to zero and they must be street driven to relearn. So what happens is you get your air/fuel ratio just perfect on the dyno(or street tuning) and then after you drive it on the street for a while it learns some new corrections and throws off all of your hard work.
oh ok so is this something you would want to leave on all the time so it will not try to correct? Cant i just go into my constant and change all blm settings to 120? And just to be sure, this would effect a 2 bar open loop tune?
No it won't affect open loop tuning because the BLM's or long term fuel trims are not used in open loop.
Here is some good reading on the pcm modes
