High rpm studder/miss

Hey guys, I do know that our pcms seem to have a hard limit of 7000. I seem to be getting some kind of studder at around 6800 though. I wasn't having this problem before I broke the tranny and it was down for about 4 months. Ever since I put it all back together and started racing again I have it. I will continue to rev but it sounds like it drops a cyl. Now the only thing that changed during the down time was I changed gaskets on the headers, put in new plugs and put the BLM locker in my pcm tuning with lt1edit

Some things I'm gonna look at are recheck my plugs and gap...ohm out my wires to see if somthing is going bad..try to find a msd box to put in place of mine..to see if it is going out.

some questions I have. Does the coil still do anything that can cause this when the msd box on it. I had this problem at 5200 before I put the msd on there. I guess the spark wasn't hot enough before. Could the opti need to be pulled and checked since it set up as long as it did? Think the MAF could have anything to do with this.

Oh..one thing to think about. When the studder happens my right bank o2s go 250ish....think the o2 could have gone bad and just showing up at high rpms? It did set out in the open that whole time that the car was down with no exhaust on the car. It was just layed up on top of my header/

Any help is appreciated since i have to race some fast stangs this weekend...heheheh

Oh..oh a good note..dynoes the car. 427.7 rwhp and 407 rwtq.

Not bad for a little 355.

Sounds like it is leaning out... esp if the O2s are reading ~250mv

Are you running a stock fuel pump? Do you have a guage on there to watch the pressure when this is happening? (I need one too!)

I have a walbro 255 in tank and a guage in the car. when I go WOT it would just tom 41 and by the end of the run it would be between 40-41. So it was droping about a lb of fuel pressure during the run. When it would studder the pressure would hond true.
