best chip/programmer

I have a 97 z28..thinking of adding a chip/programmer to my car....any ideas which one is best? How much HP increase?

Your car doesn't have a chip so that takes that off as a possibility. You could use a programmer and Hypertech makes one that runs around 300 bucks or so. However, I would suggest getting a mail-order PCM tune done by either of these guys www.madz28.com or www.pcms4less.com I had a mail-order PCM tune done by madz28 for 125.00 and it was a night and day difference. Also, I think it is supposed to add around 10-15 rwhp. His site will tell you for sure, but I know it is in that range.

Bryan at PCMForLess.com did a great job and he tuned it on the dyno where he "found" 20 more rear wheel hp...
