I was wondering if anyone can tell me if TQ Mgt is responsible for putting my car into a code status locking tranny solenoid into third usually. I was told on 2001 cars that have converters installed that Tq Mgt needs to be turned off? Although the people I have told say it is a surprise considering my converter is only a 2800.

Doesn't make me feel so good about the people that did the tune. Even though it was done on a dyno.

Can anyone tell me about this? could this be hurting my performance?

Car is 2001, A4 with 2800 stall and put down 400RWHP.379RWTQ.
