auto to manual conversion, but do i need...

figure i give you a hook to come and look ok i am done with my conversion just need to work on bleeding the clutch some because the clutch grabs way to low on the petal. now what i was wondering is i still have the auto shifter hooked up, that is the only way it will start is if it plugged in and in park. now i am about to take the chance and program the pcm to be manual. what i am worried about is will the pcm now look for the petal to be pressed if it set to manual? is there an option to turn that off? please let me know. and incase you guys forgot its an 88 rx7 vert with an lt1/a4 now M6

If you get a switch it will be obvious how it mounts

Yeah, I remember you are in a RX7, but you must be using at least part of a Camaro wiring harness, right? If so then the shifter interlock wires can either be connected together (interlock disabled), or mounted on a switch on your clutch pedal (interlock functional).

As for the clutch grabbing low, do you mean the car starts to move if you let the clutch up from the floor just a little bit?
Depending on where you mounted the clutch master and slave cylinders you may need to adjust them some, as well as bleeding the cylinders as you mentioned.

What pedals and clutch master and slave cylinder are you using?

well yeah i am using the stock harness, actually its a caprice wiring harness only because it has the data port on it. i am using a wilwood 1 inch bore master cylinder with a new ss line to the stock ss slave cylinder. i tried bleeding it with a vaccum bleeder but that didn't work. i am going to try something and i pray that it works! i got a 1 inch bore slave cylinder from a 91 ss it has a bleeder on it so i hope that works. no on my stock shifter (from the ss auto) i have that plug your telling me take those two wires that are left and put them together?

the ones connected are e and f which are the thick yellow and the blueish purple colored ones. anything else i should do?
