im thinking about going this route instead of using datamaster. the software it comes with looks impressive too. basically just looking for feedback on this product, seems worth the money to me.

Using an A/F meter is one good way to tune the engine, at least with regard to fuel. But it takes more to tune than simply adjusting the A/F ratio. And it doesn't replace the additional data you would get with DataMaster, which is basically a free product. What are you going to do to determine if your ignition timing is correct? How will you detect knock retard?

thanks injuneer. Ive been doing my homework on tuning gear the past few days, and ive decided that the LM-1 is a good product, but will offer me no real benefit over an LC-1 logged through the PCM. I do plan on tuning with everything in mind beyond just A/F.
