Anyone have an FAQ for programming?

Hi all, I have a laptop with a serial port, and 94' trans am (OBD-1)

What can programming do for me? Can I actually 'change' anything?

Can I view my A/F ratio's?

Looking for a newbie FAQ if there's one out there.

Thanks

Re: Anyone have an FAQ for programming?

I believe there is an LT1 edit FAQ, and the Tunercats website has an FAQ as well. Other than that, I don't think there is exactly what you are looking for. I know in Tunercat the help file tells you a bit about the most changed things in there. Other than that, you just have to talk to people either in person or online, and work your way through it. I have found that there is information on most of the things that we normally program. There was a good post that I searched and found that outlined most of the tables that were there for changing, but not the best ways to change them...

Clicky

Hope that helps, if not, feel free to ask more questions.
