any tips on finding an electrical problem?

i've been dealing with a high rpm miss for many years now and its really killing my times.

i've throw enough money at it to make me sick and its still there.

last thing i did was take it to a dyno and hooked it up to some diag. scope

well the scope went nuts everytime it missed so that leads me to its got to be electrical.
instead of replace parts till i its fixed(hasnt worked in the past, plus im out of stuff to replace) i rather figure out a way to track it down.

any ideas?
