Question Any free scanning software for OBD2 vehicles?

Freescan and datamaster are only for OBD1 cars...

Anything out there to log data on my 96 TA?

I'm looking for some too. If Autotap can be used for diagnostic purposes as well I would be interested.

The only I can suggest is go to the website and see if it's something you would be interested in. I already bought the software with enhanced GM parameters some time ago and loaded it on my laptop. I've used it on other vehicles just fine with the exception of a Ford Taurus. The one thing would be you will need a cable to attach from your OBD port to your computer.

It looks like it would do the trick. As far as a cable goes would I need something like this: http://www.autotap.com/product_famil...&TrailType=Top or would a regular cable work? I am just not sure where to even find a cable by itself.
