any DFI6 gurus care to help?

Before I go into a lengthy spiel about my question I'd like to see if anybody here knows DFI6 well.

My problem is that the car runs pig rich all the time. Then I lean out the base map and BAM! car runs worse yet. It idles at .8map and 950rpm and I got it to idle ok with those values at 42. I've got a little too much injector for my setup, but like I said, I've got them.

My immediate concern is that the O2 is reading .010 volts engine off and .029 with it running. No matter what I do I can't get the little readout on the bottom right of the base map screen to show ANYTHING.

HELP!

check your closed loop settings in your global settings. make sure they are set and closed loop is on. also check your coolant temp if the sensor goes bad it will run super rich. also is the o2 heated ? my car reads goofy until the sensor heats up then it jumps into closed loop and the AF meter will start to toggle. that gauge only refers to what the o2 is doing so if it isnt working then it will not show anything. the AF gauge doesnt show actual air/fuel by the way, only what your AF would be if it was running off your base fuel map. it is always 14.7 when the o2 is working.

Thanks for that info. I think that will help me when I get back to jacking with the DFI. I finally found out why nothing made it idle decent. I put 7* keepers on 10* retainers or vice versa! How embarassing. I'm going to fix that first thing, and I bet half the problems go away.

So there goes another few hundred dollars on a car that has yet to drive for a single mile on the street
