Am I doing something wrong?? TPS voltage
Am I doing something wrong?? TPS voltage
With key on , engine off at idle volt meter is reading -4.41 and at WOT I'm seeing .51.. I have the meter + red wire from the meter back probing into the blue wire on the tps. I have the - black wire from the meter back probing the black wire on the TPS. Is this correct? I'm doing something wrong? If so, what is the correct way of do this?
Check the harness completely.
Measure resistance of black wire to a chassis ground to confirm it is a good ground. Confirm no voltage on this wire.
Measure gray wire to ground, to confirm it is supplying +5V reference.
Then check the blue wire voltage to black wire, and to chassis ground.
Not sure what the LS1 TB bump stop mod has to do with an LT1 TPS sensor????

ok, this is what I found. I guess I need to take a little more time testing and making sure I get a good connection.
black to ground: 1.3 omhs
black volts: .33
gray volts: 5.03
bule to ground: .623
blue to black: .591
wot: 4.49
seems it is in the ball park
