AKM cable software?

Can someone send me the software needed for the cable to work with the PC/Laptop? I just purchased one off a local member but he could not find his install CD.

TIA

Software to do what? Program? Scan? Datalog? I'm sure a simple search could give you a quick answer.

There is no software to make the cable work. Are you using TunerCat or LT1 edit?

Maybe software wasn't the best choice of words, I meant that I needed the drivers for the cable. I looked through AMK's website though and he gave a link in case you lost the CD, so I got the drivers.

But I tried to load my program last night and I kept getting some weird error. Keept saying something about a port? Also somehting about the file not being in the correct format?

I am using TunerCat and the file is in *.bin format, I thought that is what TunerCat used?

I don't know if it matters but the cable is the USB type. I am new to this so I have no idea about what to do to try to resolve this problem so I can load my program.

You might want to e-mail Andrew at AKM to see if he can help.

You need to find out which port your AKM cable is using, and set your software to use that port.

I think it is explained somewhere on AKM's website.

If you can't open the bin file make sure you have PCM_EE or PCM_EEB selected under the ECM tab. The ECM_42 definition file that comes with Tunercat won't open a LT1 bin file. Most LT1 bin files use PCM_EE.
