A4 pcm vs. m6

I had my car scanned and it may have a computer problem. My car is 95 Z28 with an A4
and I have a computer from an M6.Does anyone know if they are the same?
Can it be used to start the car?

Yes, the PCM itself is the same, but the programming in it is different.

yes the computer is the same however the programming has a HUGE difference

i just had my ECM replaced and i have a M6 and the default programming on the ECM i got was A4...this automattically gave me 4 codes/SES for something on the automatic tranny that i dont obviously have. It also doesnt like the fact i have a manual shiffter which um only allows me to shift into 1 and 4 all thanks for CAGS which electronically locked me out of all other gears.

not sure on what the reverse of my situation like you have will do.

but to answer your question it WILL start and run the car...how well? um no idea
