i have a speed limiter on my car. i was wondering if i would re flash the computer with a 97 v6 a4 firebird's that didn't have a limiter would that get rid of mine.

Technically, you could probably do it, but not without OBDII programming software. But if you had that, you could just change your own program and not have to worry about getting a flash from a 97. There's always Hypertech, but too much money in my opinion. I've heard a lot of people talk about PCMsforless on this board. Maybe you can try them. I'm sure they'd be cheaper then a Hypertech or other software to do it yourself, and you could probably get a little tuning done at the same time. See if anyone else out here has input.
