95 z28 backfiring

95 z28 backfiring

Hey guys I'm new to this but I have a 95 camaro has the lt1 and I recently changed the sparkplug wires and it ran fine but a week later an exhaust leak occurred and now the car is having a backfire through the exhaust. It is straight piped by the way. Any help will be appreciated thank you

Is the exhaust leak before the O2 sensor? Did you repair the leak? Does it smell like it's running rich?

Sorry took so long to reply and I'm not sure I don't know where the exhaust leak is I haven't found it and no I haven't repaired it and yes the smell of gas is stronger and it makes little explosions every now and then when I step on the gas
