I am runing a DIY open-loop VE tune and it seems to run pretty good at idle and cruising. But this past weekend I had some problem getting the fueling dialed in at the track. Thru the wideband and datamaster I was seeing lambda values for 1st and 2nd gear reading around .85 and for 3rd gear it was reading around .80. I am running E85 so I am trying to target .80 but when I richen 1st and 2nd gear up to .80 3rd gear reads around .75 and I lose MPH and ET.

What would causes 1st and 2nd gear to run leaner than 3rd? Thru the entire run the car is using the same RPM/MAP cells in the VE tables in all gears.
