93 z28 wont start

93 z28 wont start

I have 93 z28 that starts for 15 sec. then turns off.It has a new fuel pump,opti,coil still loses power after 15 sec.

no, some one told me it was the computer would that send a bad codes thanks

Here's how to pull the codes on a '93. You might want to save shoe's site, as it has some really good info.

ECM picks fuel pump repay pump 2-3 seconds when key goes from off to on , enough to pressurize fuel rails. After starting the opti pulses to ECM signal ECM to pick and hold the FP relay on. Opti or ICM DTC error codes will drop the FP relay and not light the SES indicator... Important to get a paperclip in there and check for codes. If no codes then the FP pressure is next thing to check.
