93 z28 --clearing codes-which fuse to pull?

working on my kids 93 z28. he has the blown AIR fuse so a code 26 shows up. i know i gotta disconnect the AIR pump and then put in a new 20 amp fuse. the first time we cleared the codes we just disconnected the battery. looking in the manual at the fuse locations, it shows a fuse 4 (ECM, instument cluster, Passkey-II decoder module--10amp fuse) and fuse 5 (ECM, Passkey-II decoder module, fuel pump relay--15 amp fuse)
do we need to pull both fuses to clear the code? he has his alpine stereo and amp all set up again after the first battery disconnect so we are trying to avoid wiping everything out again. thanks

Find the PCM battery fuse in the fuse panel and remove it for 30 seconds. I assume this works on the 93 as well as other lt1's. Not

A 1993 does not have a "PCM" fuse (because is has no PCM).

The fuses should be labeled ECM BAT and ECM IGN. ECM BAT (10 amp, fuse 4) should be the one you want to pull for 30 seconds.

thanks for the confirmation. replaced the fuse for the air pump and the light went away......for now. i think we will keep the air pump plugged in until it blows the fuse again. the 93 pump isnt like in your 95 that you have the picture on your site. same general location but its not attatched to the motor right? i can get a picture of this pump for you if you would like. thanks, keith

Yeah, the AIR pump on a 1993 is mounted on the LH frame rail beside the engine.
