To start off i have a 1999 camaro z28 with a A4 and I am going from a 273 to a 373 gear . I have the diablo predator programer and i know that i can correct what my speedometer will say with the programer . What I am wondering is that in the owners manual for the corvette programer it has different mph upshifts and downshifts that are adjusted when you change the gears . In the camaro manual that I have it doesnt have any thing about changing the shift points so im wondering if i should change them or not and if so does any one know what I should change them to . Any input will help , and I wasnt to shure if i should have put this post in this part of the forum or the drivetrain part . thanx.


the corvette shift parameters are

for 373 gears set to
1-2 upshift 35 mph
2-3 upshift 65 mph
3-4 upshift 126
2-1 downshift 34
3-2 downshift 58
4-3 downshift 115

 

Those values will probably be close enough to start with but you may have to fine tune because you must take into consideration the difference in wheel size between the Corvette and your car.
