108 BLMs...Any ideas?
Re: 108 BLMs...Any ideas?
Well it definitly seemed to make a huge difference. I set the fuel pressure to 43.5 - 44 psi with the vaccum compensation removed. The car idles smoother and pulls a lot harder up top. My BLMs were also ranging from the high 1-teens to low 120s most of the time with a couple of dips down to 110. I think after driving a few miles the computer will relearn everything. I sure hope this was what was wrong with my car.

Just an update, my BLMs while cruising on the freeway are usually exactly at 128. Amazing how I could of overlooked something like this over the years. Plus I went to the track the other weekend and dropped almost 3 tenths off my eighth mile time and gained about 2 mph (8.81@80.75). Not to mention my gas mileage has gone up a bit on the freeway. Going 80 with the windows down I get about 24 mpg which I don't think is bad for an auto going that fast.
Around town, if I give it a bit of gas, my BLMs jump up to about 135-138. Is this normal or could that be a sign of an exhaust leak?

I'm having the same problem, my long term fuel trim levels are way low, sometimes hitting -13% and I get a few degrees of knock while accelerationg. I think I'm going to pick up a fuel pressure gauge and give that a try, I've tried just about everything else.
