wiring harness install quetion
wiring harness install quetion
im thinkin of pickin up a prostreet built on a 81 camaro z28. its not street legal right now, but it can be... all it needs is a wiring harness for the lights and blinkers and what not, how hard is it to install something like this something like "painless" or something... the head lights, blinkers, brake lights u know.
Engine compartment wiring is easy, cause it's all layed out. Never done body wiring, so don't know there. See FAQ's here, or e-mail them and ask:

Talos, If you are just going after the essentials (lights, horn, ignition, fuel pump, SMALL stereo etc) I would just buy a universal 10 or 12 circuit fuse panel and wire it myself. Its not hard. I could help you out, show you the correct way to wire stuff. However, if you are doing a full car it is often cheaper (and easier) to buy a painless or similar harness. Start pricing out wiring and connectors and you will find out that the painless arent overpriced.
