On an 80' camaro, the bolt pattern is right but what about the offset and will they rub?...17x8, +38 mm offset, 5 61/64 BSM

A popular 17" combo that is known to clear 2gen Camaro fronts is 17 x 8 wheels, 4.5 to 5.0 inch backspace and 245 45-17 tires. I run 4.5 bs with no problems on mine.

If I read your post correctly, it looks like you have more than 5 inches of backspace. My best guess is that these will hit something when the wheel is near its maximum turn in. You could always go with longer studs and spacers to move the wheels out, but you are probably better off with a set that fits better to begin with.

 

alright thanks alot for the info, I kinda figured they'd be a little off because they say they are FWD wheels...but I found a good deal on'm so just had to ask
