FS/FT: 4 speed setup for 1st or 2nd gen
FS/FT: 4 speed setup for 1st or 2nd gen
I have a complete setup to swap a 1st gen or probably even a 2nd gen to a 4 speed. Includes Hurst shifter, transmission, bell housing, throwout bearing, pressure plate, flywheel, all the linkages, crossmember, etc.
Not sure what to ask, but I'd swap it all for a decent th350 or th400...
This was in my 69 behind a 454 and stood up very well, able to spin the tires through 3 gears without slipping. I think it was originally a trans from a 2nd gen IIRC. Seems like I remember the casting number showing 81 f body. It has the holes for a torque arm too (I think).
It's not a muncie, and I am not asking a muncie price...
