Where's the #1 cylinder on an older 350?
I was just gonna check out my timing and realized I didn't know where the #1 cylinder was on a Chevy(I'm mostly a Ford guy

How in the good lord's name are you supposed to loosen the distributor on these things??? I guess I'll either have to take the valve cover or the carb off to get to the hold-down bolt. I can't get anything in there.
I took a cheap wrench and bent it to make it work.. Just keep it in the tool box for later.. that way you don't have to buy another one.
But thats when i needed one right then, if you have time just go and buy one :-)

Yeah, those L-shaped wrenches are very helpful. I can't get to my hold-down bolt at all without one.
Now if I could just figure out how to get the back passenger side header bolt out without removing the valve cover.....
