I have a 1969 camaro, which from the factory had a 307cu motor and a THM-350 tranny, and the only thing I dont know is the rearend. I cant find the codes on the axle shafts to help me out. does anybody know what originally came in the rear-end?

 

The codes will be on the passenger side facing towards the front of the car. A lot of times it is more towards the top. You'll probably need a wire brush to clean all the old dirt off to see it. You most likely have the standard 2.73 non-posi rear with that engine/trans combination. If you're lucky you might have the 3.07 or 3.08.
