I recently bought a 79 Z/28 without a drivers side seat. I am having a heck of a time finding one. Any ideas???

 

I've noticed that the junk yards are runnin pretty low lately on late 2nd gen seats...if u r looking for color specific u'll b lookin forever...i needed some for my 81 Z and it took me forever just to find some...i ended up getting them reupholstered it costed me around $400 which i thought was pretty good..i'm thinking '79-'81 seats are the same but i'm not perfectly sure i never could compare mine to the seats i ended up getting cuz i never had em, haha..i dunno if that helped u much but if u need n e thing specific just ask..maybe some1 will anwser alittle quicker

 

I have 1997 Trans Am seats in my Camaro. Does take some slight modifications, but they look sweet, and fit like a glove.

 

Oh, and I still have my 79 fronts... You don't want them though. They need recovering in a bad way.

 

Mine are long gone, but I have 4th gen camaro seats in mine. A lil moding to the seat tracks but the look like they belong in there
