Just got a 69 camaro...it's not an ss or rs, just a basic with a v8, but what size is the motor or how can i tell? I dunno if i'll be able to tell by the vin plate in the engine bay cause the motor doesnt look stock...but who knows. Anyways, if it IS the original motor, how can I tell by the plate? Thanks.

 

You can get the engine code off the block deck in front of the passenger head and decode that or go to this site and check the casting #:
