What should i expect from a shift kit?

I have a quote of $300 for the kit and install.
and 250 to install my 4.10 gears.

Sounds high on the shift kit unless they're doing some trick stuff to the valve body it's self. They aren't that difficult to do. Check out summitracing.com or jegs.com for some prices. What brand etc. are they offering?

The rear gear install sounds about right though.

I agree, the shift kit price is kinda steep. Although if that includes install and fluid/filter, I guess its ok. A B&M shift kit is about 35-40 bucks, so they are quite cheap for the TH350's.
