Exclamation Old engine big problem (please help)

I recently bought a 1979 Camaro, and was restoring it, however about a month ago my engine died on me. It firgured it was possible the ingition check it wasnt it, check the fuses, check the wires, even went as far a possible bad gas wasnt it, at this point l am thinking its a bad engine seeing as it has 160,000 miles on it. However theres one thing that keeps me coming back, the battery keeps deing, something is draining it, and l dont know what, any info would be a help thanks

I'd start with your battery, maybe it isnt holding a charge... or your alt. isnt charging. or if the problem remains try and battery cut off, have the power from the battery run through a switch that you shut off when you shut the car off. that way it cut's any draining from the battery while the car is off.
