need help with my basket case

I'm finally putting back together my 79 camaro, but in the time that it was apart we have lost and forgotten all manner of "stuff"
so if anyone can answer any of these I'd really appreciate it.
what size bolts are the bell housing bolts?
Vaccum diagram for the heater control valve?

I know the motor going in came out of a 79 impala california car (350 4bbl).
and my car is originally a 305 2 bbl federal car.

we also are without the original motor and accessories so we pretty much have to make the impala stuff work.

I'm also planning on swapping in a 78 Z28 gauge cluster in place of my factory idiot lights, any thing I should know there?
I already plan on changing the oil pressure switch and the coolant temp sender over to the w/ gauge ones.
I just want / need to know what else I may need to do.
Sorry about the long windedness.
Brian

the bell housing bolts are 3/8 ,for sure, and i would guess about 2-1/2" long. you must have a/c (i had a 79) i thought mine was controled by cables.i dont know what to tell you about your heater diaphram. your impala stuff wont be a problem either, part interchangability is great. i dont know how many junk yards there are in the city, but one by me has about 8 74-81 camaro/firebirds in it. they even had a 69 camaro. i did a swap on a 6 cly nova to a v 8 and i found a car with a clean engine compartment and took off all the accesorys. i dont remember what it came off of,if you plan on installing headers i would make sure you get a pass side alt. also make sure to get a long style water pump. if you plan on hooking up your a/c i dont know what to tell you. good luck

Both cars did come with a/c. I made the mistake of pulling the a/c off the car when it had the first motor in it. so now I've got the a/c setup from the impala to go into it, I'll have to modify the hoses.

now I'm on the hunt for info on the heater control valve.
Delco doesn't catalog that on the camaro that far back

sounds like its time to go to the junk yard. the money that can be saved on certain parst is amazing. i bought a side window for my talon for ten dollars, and a speedometer for my 69 camaro for twenty. i know it takes time to go there instead of ordering it but its a fun place to go. just ask them to look up the part in the cross referance book im sure you will find one.
