What does this mean?

Question

Swedish variant of "double hump" or "camel hump" high perf heads, maybe. That's one I've never heard, though.

thats what i figured, i didnt notice he was sweden till now though. Probably dumble hump heads. If they have 2 humps on the front of the cylinder heads on the radiator side they are double humps. I cant find the page now but there is a site that describes them all..

They are simply the SBC double-hump or camel-hump heads as stated above, and the valves are not the same size. Never saw an SBC head with equal size intake and exhaust valves. Initially, the camel-hump valves were 1.94 I / 1.50 E. Later they were 2.02 I / 1.60 E. Read this thread:

Camel Hump Heads | The H.A.M.B.

Look specifically at the post by SWEDE64, dated NOV 8, 2010:

In Sweden they´re called Mickey Mouse heads. The humps look like Mickey Mouse´s ears. This is a pretty useless post but nevertheless..

Mickey Mouse heads...Awesome.

I do a lot of engines with those heads, never heard them called that before.

Re: Mickey Mouse Heads?

In the early days the 265, 283 and 327 engines were referred to as Mickey Mouse engines- as opposed to the 348 and 409 which were called "rat" motors. Therefore, I would say the heads would be of the same design as these early engines. (Also, I think on the first 350 engines)
