How do I get the window crank handle off?

How do I get the window crank handle off?

I need to get in the door panel to inspect the window mechanism (the windows are crooked and wont go up staright on their own.

There is a clip on the back of the handle. A skinny screw driver should be able to fit behind it and wedge the clip off. Then the handle should pull off....

There's a special tool for removing window cranks. You should be able to pick one up at your local autoparts store. (Motormite, a.k.a. Help! carries one.) Its much easier than a screwdriver although that will also work.

that special tool is called a rag just wrap the rag behind the handle and turn it like your rolling down the window. The clip will come out with no problem.

That's even better. I havent had time to get out to an auto parts store.
