How do I get the window crank handle off?

There's a special tool for removing window cranks. You should be able to pick one up at your local autoparts store. (Motormite, a.k.a. Help! carries one.) Its much easier than a screwdriver although that will also work.

that special tool is called a rag
just wrap the rag behind the handle and turn it like your rolling down the window. The clip will come out with no problem.
