just lookin for some advice/info on my 355.

355 C.I. 4 bolt main-built in 1982
polished pistons
Solid crank
993 head with oversized vales Just done this year
Refresh up motor last year, gasket, rings and bearings
edelbrock 4 barrel

any vague guesses on hp/.25 mile? also, what would be some other good power-boosters for the motor?

 

Compression ratio, cam specs, intake, exaust, etc., needed for reasonable hp estimates. Specs on rest of vehicle combination (tranny, gear ratio, etc) needed for 1/4 est.

 

sounds pretty stock, he is right, we need a whole lot more data to get within say 40 horsepower, but like i said it sounds pretty stock , so i'm betting between 200 and 275 hp give or take 100... lol depending on what's there
