Engine swap
From what I hear it'll save a whole lot of hassle if you get a Painless Wiring harness. I didnt want to spend the $600 on that then have to worry about computer tuning, so I'm slapping a carb on my LT1 and putting a TH-350 behind it(which will some day be replaced by a 700).
I'd consider a painless wiring kit but that's a little more than i'd like to spend and this not being my only car and actually a learning experience i'd like to do most of it myself. I'm a mechanical engineering student who is trying to get as much hands on application of knowledge as i can. And when i run into problems i have a few friends who are Engineers and a dad who is an Electronics Tech. It will be a pain in the *** but it will be worth the knowledge i think in the long run.

Look at www.nastyz28.com There's a lot of helpful info on that swap.
Will,
go to www.hotrodlane.cc then click on the "online catalog". when the index loads scroll down to "real street camaro page 92" that should just about have all the info you will need unless you are using a factory harness.

I'm glad to have been directed to this site because it has been followed by several leads on parts that i need and several friendly tips of advice.
