dz302

i have a dz 302 1969 have had it for 20 years . was wondering about the value .it was in a dirt track car i bought and was dissassembled 10 years ago .still has the original crank block heads any info would help.

You might have a pile of gold there. Pretty rare engine and some demand for it from restorers. With all the crazy people on Ebay, you could get several thousand dollars for what you have. Try these guys:

Keep it. They aren't making any more of them and the longer you hold on to them the more the demand will be. Don't sell now, people can still find them. . . on EBAY. Be patient. Have the machine shop work their magic and make sure everything is still good, coat it in some lithium grease and watch your money build. Unless you're hurting for money right now, I'd hang on to it. JMO.

thanks i was offerd 2thousand. we were thinking of putting it in another dirt car .my dragracing neighbor about fliped said it would be a waste .it has isky roller gear drive cam dont know the piston comp .the little motor had sum thump last time i ran it .thanks for the web sites to.i will proble keepit unless there is a better offer thanks again chip

my dad just bought one off of eBay for $6000. I would tell the guy that offered you 2000 no thanks. Just clean up and put it on ebay, you'll get good money! Just make sure you take a pic of the DZ stamp on the block.
