Dyno of 67-69 Z/28
Dyno of 67-69 Z/28
I was just wondering since I still have yet to find one... If anyone has ever seen or has a link or some knowledege of what a stock 67-69 302 would put out at the crank or at the wheels. Hp and Tq if anyone even knows anymore. I get such a wide range of answers, and the only dyno runs I have seen were from the Trans Am engines and they were in the upwards of 425-470hp 350ft/lbs of torque...
If anyone knows what a street one made, or has any idea where to find that it would be so nice to share
When my cars back together im getting it dyno'd but I would like to know what it was when stock.

Mine made around 269 rwhp.........but I have a 350 ci. Solid flat tappet. THat .490 lift cam I have is a mean one....LOL.
On the flip side.......I run 8.33 in the eigth mile. Not bad considering the 1969 suspension.

From September 87 Muscle Car Review build of a DZ 302 to stock specs (.030" over bore):
With a 3927140 off road cam: 347 hp @ 6750, 306 tq @ 5250.
With a 3849346 stock replacement cam: 327 hp @ 6750, 305 tq @ 5000.
At 3500 the bigger cam made 180 hp, 270 tq; the stock cam made 186 hp, 279 tq.
That's why I only do 400's now.
