Would a 3rd gen Driveshaft fit on a 2nd gen? I know the swap from 3rd gen to 4th is ok but would a 3rd to 2nd work?

 

I don't believe so. Since 3rd/4th-gen are the same, that makes them too short for a 2nd-gen. I'm not 100% sure of the exact length of a 3rd/4th DS, but I know that one for a 2nd-gen is 48-1/2" center-to-center of the caps.

 

Thanks we got a club member looking for a 2nd gen ds but All I have around my house is 3/4 gen ds's
