Question disc brake conversion

I am getting ready to do a disc brake conversion on my 69 camaro. I believe the car has 6 cylinder spring in it now but i'm putting 8 cylinder springs in. I am going to be using a set of two inch drop spindles, do you think the ride hieght will turn out the same. Or do you think it will be lower or higher. It does have a small block in it. Any help will be very appreciated.

Definately lower. I have a 70 SS with drop spindles and the headers hit almost any bump. Some taller tires will help. I've already gone up a size from what was on there when I bought the car.
