too bad I am selling my heads, the guy says he doesn't get paid until next friday though If he doesn't send money by friday, then I will hook you up. I am researching the asme thing right now, which aftermarket head to buy. I want aluminum, but am willing to get iron if performance is good and price. I have been playing with DD2000 and found that AFR 195's are AWESOME, on DD2000 they put 425HP with my combo!!! I know, I know, don't put all your faith in DD2000, but it has to be close. Let me know what you find

Joe

Trick Flow 23* aluminum heads (195cc) are about the same price as the Dart I/E's but the TFS heads outflow them. For my $$ I'd get Trick Flows any day over the Darts.

I have decided to go with the Dart Pro-1 Aluminum 200cc heads w/ 2.02/1.6 valves.

They flow the same as AFR 195's Comp port job which are just under $2,000 a pair. And the Dart's flow that AS-CAST!!!

You can get them from Jegs or Summit for around $1100

If the Darts flow that much, $999 is a bargain. But that's a big if. Is it independent flow #'s, or #'s from Dart?

I don't know if they are done independently or not. But for the price, even if teh AFR's flow just a bit more or in the same area, these are a good deal

if you are truely in a "budget situation", use the iron eagles. Get them cleaned up with a nice valve job and maybe some valve clearancing and use undercut race valves. The 350 should be around 375 HP range as long as the compression and cam are matched.

I would get the Pro1s or the AFRs if I was you though.

As you can see in my sig, I have the Pro1s on my 383 and it makes over 450 HP!

good idea with the pro 1s, they are probably one of the best heads you can buy for your money! My buddy has a fully ported set on his nova and runs high 9s with a big squeeze and runs 11.0 on motor with a 406
