Question CPP disc brake conversion kit?

I'm looking to do a power, stock spindle height, front disc conversion on my '69 Camaro. Has anyone installed a kit from Classic Performance Products (CPP)?

Any other recommendations?

We used the disk brake conversion kit from Aerospace Components for our 67 rs Camaro race car and my brother installed them on his 67 Pro Street Camaro. http://www.aerospacecomponents.com/home.htm Wer are very happy with the quality and price (cheaper than wilwood) and you dont have to change the spindels out. They use the drum brake spindles and it is a direct bolt in application.

For a budget set, look for a 68-74 Nova/Ventura, or a 68-74 Chevelle/Lemans/Cutlass; they will bolt on to the 1st gen f-body. (the nova uses the same subframe)
The A-body will require you to use the steering arms off your car, since they are front steer.

I've actually considered both of these alternatives as well as some others, but haven't made a choice for numerous reasons. I liked the quality and price of the Aerospace kit, but was concerned about replacing parts in the event of a failure (maybe this isn't a big deal, but it is an unknown for me).

I also considered the later alternative, swap from Nova, Chevelle etc., but since this is not a well kept secret, most are already gone or outrageously priced.

Unfortunately, that keeps bringing me back to chosing a conversion kit. Now, its a matter of picking one that doesn't require major modifications or cause me to have to choose between disc brakes or feeding the kids

One of the reasons I continue to come to this site, is because I know that I can draw from the experiences and knowledge of others who come here and are willing to share. From my perspective, I come her for numerous reasons, but the two biggies for me are seeking knowledge and because I, like many others here, share a passion for the hobby Thanks for the posts!
